First Blog Post!

It's my first blog post since I was a teenager! Haha! I do enjoy journaling as an adult though and have used that to get through tough times in my life, or to just get some creative juices going when I want to work on projects.

I think this will be a fun place to be able to share thoughts and feelings about BTS stuff though! We talk a lot on the podcast of course, but throughout the week, I'd love to be able to share what I'm seeing or thinking a little more in the moment. Or this will just turn into my fanfic page, who knows?!

For my first blog though, I wanted to chat about the new Anthology album, Proof! I'm sure we will talk about this in the episode this week, but I was pretty shocked when they revealed that the new album was going to be an anthology! This is a huge achievement for them to be able to put this out! 9 years of music to be able to pull from, plus demos, different versions of songs, things like that, which traditionally make up an anthology. I'm so excited to hear what they've put together for us!!

And a smart move with the huge influx of ARMY over the past few years. It'll give all of us a chance to revisit old favorites or hear them for the first time, depending on your ARMY journey :) It also seems like such a huge achievement to me, because some of the greats have anthologies, like the Beatles! It's just yet another stepping stone for them that's really showing how crazy far they've come!

I'm also hoping this means they'll be visiting older work on their next tour! Can we please see UGH! in person!?! Cypher Pt. 3!! Look Here! Wings Solos! I could go on and on, but I know they'll put together a great setlist for this next tour, they always do! I REALLY just need them to go ahead and announce the dates now, thank you!

I'm sitting on my shopping cart in Weverse right now and debating just waiting for it to come out at Target. The shipping isn't terrible on Weverse, but there's something about going through the Target line with my albums that makes me feel proud HAHA!  Like yes, ring me up! I want to walk through the store with them in my hands! It's a very satisfying moment, so who's joining me?! lol

Anyway, I'll wrap up by saying I'm excited for more Teaser content to come out over the next few weeks and I can't wait for this album to drop! It's the wrapping up of an era, Proof of their path so far, and I'm going to marinate in that as long as I can before they take us on their next journey.
